How do I get to Lesotho?

Lesotho is accessible via road through various border posts with South Africa. Moshoeshoe I International Airport in Maseru offers limited regional flights, mainly from Johannesburg.

Registration of companies is done by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development; while issuance of some tourism business licences is facilitated by the Ministry of Sports, Tourism, Arts and Culture ( Accommodation, Restaurants and Liquor licenses) and all other tourism enterprises license is obtainable from the Ministry of Trade (Tour guiding, tour operation, events, etc.). Foreign investors are permitted to own businesses however they cannot directly own land in Lesotho; however there are sublease agreements that can be entered into between FDIs and Government of Lesotho for trade and investment purposes. Contact the LTDC investment unit for more details.
